There are many types of leads which can be used to help your MLM business grow a solid downline; but there is one kind of lead you may not be familiar with – aged leads. These are older than most of the leads you may generally consider using, but they have the advantage of being quite a bit cheaper.

Real time leads, for example can cost over $20 apiece. Aged leads however can go for just a few cents each. Especially for newcomers too the MLM business, this difference in price can really matter. Beginning marketers usually have a tight budget; aged leads can give your MLM business the leads you need to grow while staying within the limits of your budget.

You also won’t have a lot of competition for these leads; another advantage. Since these are older leads though, keep in mind that others may have gotten to these leads first or they may have found what they were looking for on their own.

Of course there are both benefits and disadvantages to going with aged leads, but even so, if you work hard, you can maximize these leads for some great results. If you know how to maximize these leads, there are great ways that you can make considerable profits from these types of leads. Of course there are some tips to keep in mind that can help you make the most of these leads.

It’s all about your approach – treat these MLM leads like people, not like numbers. They have probably had some negative experiences with marketers and recruiters. A gentle approach is called for – tell them about how your business opportunity can improve their lives but don’t push too hard.

It’s also important that you treat your aged leads like they are still interested. If you keep this in your mind, you’ll do a better job when you are talking to your leads. Don’t treat these leads like they are just secondary leads.

While you do want to approach these leads much the same as you would a fresh lead, make sure not to be pushy. These leads have more than likely already talked to many marketers and recruiters, so take a more friendly and relaxed approach to these leads.

Finally, you need to be sure that your aged leads are truly high quality leads should you decide to use this type of lead. Even an aged MLM lead is likely to convert if you get leads from a good source. Only buy aged leads (or any other MLM leads) if they come from a company with a good reputation for providing top quality leads. While you won’t get as high of a conversion rat as you would from real time leads, aged leads can perform well for you if you are willing to work hard and maximize these leads.
