MLM IS IT FOR YOU

Jim Rohn once said, \”Before you increase your profits, you must increase your value.\” Nothing could be more true.

I have been involved in sports my whole life. I played hockey many years ago. Contrary to what many people believe, hockey is more then just banging bodies and shooting a puck. You must be a master at your position or you will get burned. Someone once said that sports are 90% mental and 10% physical. You have to be much more then a physical specimen to play in any sport today.

How do you thing Michael Jordan became so good at what he did? He used to take 700 to 800 shots at practice everyday. When the game was on the line everybody knew Michael was going to take the shot. He had played that scene out in his mind at practice, time and time again. You could see the confidence that he played with. It\’s what he lived for. It\’s what he enjoyed. It\’s what he worked so very hard to achieve.

It\’s the same with your network marketing business. Work hard and develop the disciplines that it takes to be a top network marketer and get paid like a top earner in the network marketing industry. Or treat it like a part time hobby and it will pay you like a part time hobby.

You must also be careful who you associate yourself with. There\’s the story of three people walking down the street. One of them was dressed up like a clown. A mother and her son were walking down the same street. The son looked up at his mother and said, \”Mom, look at the clowns.\” There was only one clown but he associated the other two as clowns as well, even though they weren\’t dressed up as clowns. You will become associated with and even start to act, and dress like the people you hang out with.

Don\’t walk with clowns. Walk with the successful people. People that are where you want to be. People that are doing the right things and making the right moves. Emulate those people and do what they do and you will be successful in network marketing.

If you want to be a better prospector, buy all the CD\’s and train with the best of the best. Mike Dillard, Jeffery Combs, Cedrick Harris. These are the guys you want to emulate. Read all the material they print out. Go to their webinar\’s. Listen to their CD\’s in your car. Absorb their information like a sponge and soon you will be making those winning shots at the buzzer.

What if you were going into surgery for your brain and found the doctor reading the beginners manual. Would you really want him to do your surgery? I know that I wouldn\’t.

So many people get into network marketing and are not willing to take the time to learn their trade and learn if from the guys who are doing it and doing it well. Be the best you can be. Become a student of your craft. Take those 800 shots everyday at practice. You will become so proficient at what you do, it will be like breathing. You won\’t even have to think about it. Soon your hard work will payoff. You will find yourself at the top looking down.
