The success rate is low in the network marketing home business world. In fact, a mere 3% are said to be truly successful (and wealthy), while the others just lag behind. This is interesting because the secrets to success are actually not secrets at all, and they are simple things.

To SUCCEED (i.e. make money) you must follow these 4 rules:

1. Treat your business like a business.
Have a work schedule, set measurable goals, keep track of your business activities and results, be professional and meticulous, and cover all aspects of your business (even the boring stuff). Take responsibility and accountability for your results, and be persistent!

2. Apply the system.
Network marketing systems revolve around replication. You replicate the actions of successful people, and you also replicate their results. The system works, so work it! Following the system is also the most efficient way to start-up and build-up your business. Use your individuality and creativity to create a unique business, as long as it falls within the basic proven framework.

3. Further your education.
Network marketing and internet marketing strategies are powerful tools. Develop your knowledge and skills in using those strategies and you will maximise your returns. From marketing to communications skills and mindset, there is always something to learn to improve your business results.

4. Have the right attitude!
Be committed, coachable, positive, consistent, honest, attentive, collaborative, proactive and determined to succeed! This is not to say you must start that way. With choosing the right business, a supportive mentor and caring team, you will develop yourself into a successful individual in all aspects of your life.

So when considering this type of business for yourself, think about these 4 questions:
- Will you COMMIT?
- Will you FOLLOW?
- Will you LEARN?
- Will you have the RIGHT ATTITUDE?
